'Vision schools' to be built, says Minister
By Staff Reporter
Government remains committed
to building six “Vision
Schools” as part of the Education
and Training Sector Improvement
Programme, ETSIP.
The aim of building such
schools was to enhance the
quality of education.
Education Minister, Dr
Abraham Iyambo, told the National
Assembly this week that
construction for the first Vision
School in Kavango Region
would start before the end of
June this year.
These schools would be adequately
equipped with the latest
21st century learning tools,
good management, time on
task and proper supervision.
Beneficiaries at these schools
would have an opportunity to
access quality secondary education
and set the foundation
for further academic success.
Each of the six vision schools
will cost about N$110 million.
