In THE SPOTLIGHT this time is the 2009 Namibia Presidential and National Assembly Elections Results, the Masses have spoken.

They have dealt a blow to the hallucinations of RDP and NSHR as well as their sponsors. RDP and NSHR are projects of imperialists. The masters are seated elsewhere (specifically those in Germany) plotting and planning how SWAPO as a liberation movement should be removed from the political landscape of Namibia. It is called regime change.

They wanted regime change in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Angola, Mozambique and Tanzania, shame on them. In the case of Namibia, the puppets on the shoestring are Hidipo Hamutenya, Jesaya Nyamu, Phil ya Nangolo and others. These are the desperate gangs who started RDP. What they have in common is grudges and hatred of Founding President, H.E. Dr Sam Nujoma.

Lest we forget, RDP was not founded to be an opposition party or become an official opposition but it was formed to take over government from SWAPO Party. That is why they planted hibernators in Government to achieve this very lunatic objective. In his own admission Jesaya Nyamu claimed that in every Ministry, Agency and Office, RDP members are there on a mission of RDP. The local media especially some media houses like The Namibian, Informante, Die Republikein are de facto public relations officers of RDP assisted by some members of the diplomatic corps. We know who they are.

Prior to the founding of RDP, it was reported in the media that NSHR through its lifetime Executive Director, Phil yaNangoloh went throughout Namibia to collect names under false pretense for RDP. The NSHR callers on NBC phone-in programmes boasted about this “achievement”. There was also a visit to Europe by some who are now leaders of RDP and hibernators in SWAPO. That was how RDP began under the veil of secrecy and dubiously registered by then Director of Elections, Mr. Phillemon Kanime. Phillemon Kanime is an RDP now.

Some Namibians found their names on a list they were not party too, but to this day RDP has never been brought to book. It was RDP which hoodwinked other opposition parties to reject NamPrint from printing ballot papers. The ballot papers subsequently were printed in South Africa. It was RDP which influenced CoD to jointly take NBC to court on account of airtime allocation. Their actions backfired miserably. Now it turns out, the wife of Hidipo Hamutenya was in charge of safekeeping the Voters’ Roll. Is this not conflict of interest for Mr. Hidipo Hamutenya?

Now the results are coming in and the writing is on the wall. SWAPO Party is cruising to an unstoppable victory. RDP is now a thief of votes from CoD, DTA and other smaller parties. However, the days of 27/28 November 2009, will never be forgotten by RDP and its imperialist donors. These are the days when the Namibian people spoke loudly against the RDP at the ballot box. Whereas this project was billed as able to break the backbone of SWAPO it has shamelessly stolen the space from other political projects. New Era was right when it predicted in one of its editorial that the elections was a race “opposition against opposition” and not against SWAPO Party.

When the political obituary of RDP is to be written, it will be said that when CoD died, RDP took over with scrap yard politicians replacing CoD in Parliament. SWAPO remains stronger and the political home of all Namibians because the “bornfree” and Namibian youth in general have come out in their thousands to vote for the SWAPO Party.

ALL Hybernators should by now know that, rdp_the_Nyamu notes failed and their days of sabotaging government activities are numbered.

LONG LIVE the entire rank and file of the SWAPO Party LONG LIVE…
