Reject 'Bullet' of Okahandja
By Valery Aaron, Okahandja, Namibia
On Sunday, February 14,
2010, the six party hallucinatory
cocktail held its rally in
Okahandja. The purpose was
probably to draw crowds away
from the sport stadium where
the Founding President, Dr Sam
Nujoma, addressed a huge
crowd of Okahandja residents.
If they wanted to divide the
crowd, then they have failed dismally.
The six party coalition only
managed to assemble less than
150 people half of whom probably
travelled from Windhoek.
There is nothing wrong for a
person to travel to another town
to attend a rally of the party of
his/her choice, but if the purpose
it to fill up space, then it is a selfdeceiving
act.
Truly, human beings are all
created equal, but some people
see choice and fate as the same
side of a coin. However, choice
is about the decision a person has taken or continues to take
in life, while fate is what life
hands without much expectation.
At the six party coalition
rally, they introduced their candidate
as the “bullet of
Okahandja” that tells you either
they have made a choice
to be weapons of mass destruction
(bullets) or by fate they are
bullets of destructions.
Bullets are meant for destructions
and killing, therefore
people of Okahandja are forewarned
that the six party coalition
is sending a bullet of mass
destructions to destroyed whatever
you salvaged after its earlier
destructions while it was in
the making.
On 24 February 2010, the
people of Okahandja constituency
are cautioned to find a
cover in reliable shelter lest the
bullet strikes them and cause a
political destruction of monumental
proportions. The only
reliable shelter to shield the
people of Okahandja from “the
bullet of Okahandja” is the
SWAPO Party.
Therefore do not let a bullet
find you outside the reliable
shelter; the same applies also to
those members of the six parties
who have been coerced into
accepting a bullet of mass
Okahandja destruction. If you
belong to that six party coalition,
think twice lest you become
an accomplice of the bullet
that is going to cause mass
destruction of your well-being.
Another interesting thing is
that “the bullet of Okahandja”
appears to be confused not
knowing which office she is
campaigning for. She told a rally
of the six cocktail party coalition
that once elected she will
write off the municipal debts of
the Okahandja town residents.
One is tempted to ask bullet how exactly are you going to
do that? You had a chance
when you were at the municipality,
but what you did best
was the mismanagement of
the affairs of the town and poor
service delivery.
You should be given credit
for the poor management and
confusion you brought to the
town and hence that is how the
bullet would be remembered
for, nothing more, after all she
is a bullet! What more do you
expect from a bullet?
